That means either a bad cord in the USB connector, or your USB port in the phone is going out.

You've installed an xcarlink adapter before? Or did you have a shop do it?

the one i got was super easy to put in, totally plug & play, pulled out the stereo, plugged it into the back, fed the wire from the back of the stereo to the glove box and it was done.

took less than 10 minutes :)

once its installed you hit 'cd' twice to get to the ipod, then you can go through playlists or random or whatever...

Alright. I've been considering one. I'm sick of the crappy quality of an FM adapter. If I need help installing at least someone here has done it :)

only thing it doesn't do is display mp3 tag-info on the stereo, that would be a sweet feature...

So I just want to say I fixed itby breaking it thursday night closing my 7's door on it breaking the USB part and the actual transmitter part. Kinda bummed out. I guess off to find a better one .
