Keyless Problems

So just the other day my keyless entry started acting up. The lock button doesn't work anymore on either remotes. Tried new batteries, tried reprogramming the remotes, disconnecting the car battery for a while, all to no avail. The strange thing, the unlock and panic buttons work! I have no idea what else to look at now, I've searched online for a couple hours and didn't find any thing pertaining to my problem and tried a couple things that "sorta" related which didn't help.
Anyone have any incite, I'd rather not take it to the dealer so they can rape me on cost

If Batteries and re-programming didn't work I say you need new fobs.

Did you check fuses?? Mazda has had issues with keyless entry and remote start systems blowing fuses.....

it relates to ecu programming. The ecu needs to be reprogrammed. Had the same thing happen to me, and Mazda had to reprogram both remotes... and it aint cheap. There is no other remedy

Manual mode is cool, very retro. I've been doing that with my car since the $200 for a new remote/programming from Volvo is money better spent elsewhere.

Just re-read the first post. Intresting that your panic and unlock buttons work. Nothing wrong with the button itself? I'm not sure what your keyless is. Is it a normal fob or is it the card keyless? If you open it and press the lock button on the main board does it work?

How do you know lock isn't working? The locks aren't locking, or the lights aren't blinking? If it's the latter, you have a door or latch not fully closed. If it's the former, then I've got nothing..
