• Looking for Double Din Receiver

Ok before i left wonderful CO for a 3rd World S**T Hole, i scooped up a double din kit for the 8. The time has come for parts to go on order for my baby. Was thinking of the Kenwood DNX 5120. The link is just for reference, I dont like bestbuy much.

I'm look for a Double Din that i can use to setup a whole system rebuild later, red LED's, Nav, MP3 Hookup, cd/ dvd, and maybe touch screen.
Anybody got any other suggestions?

I had originaly gotten an Alpine IVA-W505 but know have the JVC KW-NX7000. I picked that baby up for $740 brand new. Best thing about it the screen comes off.

IMO I traded off sound quality which the Alpine put out very well for the romovable face of the JVC.... Plus the JVC has built in GPS and an SD card slot.

After playing with the eaqulizer a little I got the JVC to play my music quite nicely. Better output than stock IMO.

STAY AWAY FROM KENWOOD. work great for awhile then they just spiral out of control. Now as for the Alpine u switched out i can understand removable but man u sacrificed a lot of quality for that JVC.

THIS ONE DOSENT HAVE THE DETACHABLE FACE PLATE LIKE THE CLARION BUT IS STILL SWEET!! AND way more affordable.

I also would never buy a Kenwood or a JVC. Between my brother and I we went through 5 kenwoods in a year and a half. They would just keep breaking.

I have had great luck and found some really awesome deals at http://www.onlinecarstereo.com. I bought my entire system for my Scion here and saved a ton. I got a Kenwood double din nav an love it. Easy to use, gives me full iPod integration and plays DVD's or video off my iPod. They always have seem to have free shipping on the larger purchases and everything shipped right away.
