So Josh (amongst others...lol) knows how badly I need a Nav system (yup, no sense of direction).
Josh had the idea of putting a Nav sys in the flip up lid (where the stock nav option would normally go). I need ideas on a system (not expensive) and how to put it in there so when I open the lid, it pops up, or is on display kinda thing...

It's called Holy Grail. Something I saw up on 6club. As for not expensive....well I dunno. Not sure if it's what you're looking for or not, since it's just a screen that you have to connect to an external Nav or carputer.

That TomTom thing looks pretty sweet too. But USB 1.1? I wonder if there is an updated model...

yeah...I just use yahoo or google maps to find my locale...it works pretty well....

i would say if you have the money go with a Garmin.....but if money is the problem than go with the magellan

that wouldn't work ex military only know how to land nav by foot...lol

Bah all the military scouts and such use GPS these days. It's sad when you watch them fail the Land Navigation portion of the Primary Leadership Development Course (for SGT/E-5).

So true I had a GPS and I was a scout. Granted I could use a map and compass...
