I can't determine if I'm thrilled with the new shift boot I just installed, to be honest. The stitching looks like something I could've done. (Not that it would be hard, regardless.)

I like the leather better than the vinyl. I also like the gray stitching I went with. I'll just have to see how I feel about it down the road. I also had to trim my own holes to attach it to the base, as only half of them were cut out. At this point, I wouldn't say I would recommend the vendor, Shift Style. Turnaround time was decent, price was decent. The top pic is the new boot, the bottom is the old.

Doesn't look too bad. The grey stitching goes with the stitching on the parking brake.

I think I may have been frustrated that the holes where the boot attaches to the trim weren't cut out. The seam is a little more stretched than I would prefer, but overall...I do like this boot more than the stock.

Looking good. Sucks you had to cut the holes out your self. Was it a pain to stretch over the ring? I know mine was hard to stretch over.
Where did you get the Parking brake @. I want one with blue stitch.

The parking brake is the Mazda accessory one. I know a few people that have just sewn their own leather on the stock handle.

So, I decided I like the boot, I'll post up tips for install when I get a chance. Two things I'd add...a trim ring along the top like the stock boot (pics will give a better idea of what I'm talking about), and I'm assuming Shift Style folks just missed it, but having all of the holes on the boot precut would have helped tremendously.
