Believe it or not, that *was* the how-to that I found. He does actually make it sound like it's easy though. Image

That sounds like the hard way to do it. Now i have only done this on 3s and MS3s, but you should not have to remove the assembly.

Granted this is a 3 and not an MS6, but i would think you should be able to do it this way much easier: http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=4139.0 Look for the fog light removal/replacement part. It's so much easier if you can do it like in the link above.

Yo Stealth... Is this the exact way you did yours?

EDIT: Well... I just went out in the garage and gave it a try. Couldn't have been easier. The fog lamps on the other hand....

Yeah, that was it. And the headlights were easy, but I am NOT looking forward to the fogs.

Yeah man, I don't blame you about not looking forward to the fog lights. I'm already hitting up people to contract this out to!

Is it that easy to also swap a fog lamp glass cover too? (on an MS3) Or is that more involved?

The glass is part of the actual assembly if i remember correctly. You can not easily replace just the glass, you would have to get a new assembly.

^This from when one of mine broke, i (insurance) had to get a new assembly.

I am still shocked that the fog light replacement that involved. Can anyone take a photo through the engine compartment down to where the fog light is? There has to be an easier way. You would think...
