I'm looking to get a couple of clear side corners for the 8, and was just wondering if I had to keep the amber bulbs, or would it be legal if I switched them out for some other color?

To be legal you have to stay with amber.

Advanced and Mazdatrix have these bulbs that burn amber but when they are off they are chrome. That way there isn't a yellow yolk look to them. Check it out.

Damn, that sucks.

I'll go with the clears and the stealth bulbs then.

Just a warning, The extra money is worth it for the Mazdatrix pair. I have had both the cheap advanced auto parts ones and Mazdatrix and the difference is huge in the quality you get with. IMO spend the extra cash, thats what is for.

So even though the sidemarkers don't flash, they still have to be amber? Freakin ghey!

Unless you are going to be putting blue or red in there I wouldn't be to worried about getting harrassed by the cops about it. It's just like everyone tinting their windows way past the legal limit. Some get harrassed, some never do.. Just the luck of the draw. I'm changing mine to white, and they do blink.
