Just paid for this bumper. It should be here by early next week. It's a urethan replica of the Mazdaspeed bumper which means it should hold up much better than a fiberglass kit.

I am gonna go to my guy on Hampden for a quote but if anyone has another good shop for the work that might get me a good deal and color match I would appreciate it. I know if I pay cash at my guy I can usually get a pretty screaming deal. But if someone has the hook up of course I am looking for the most cost effective route, cash in hand not a problem.

Rock on! I'm going to get the MS bumper/side skirts hopefully pretty soon. Congrats, that's going to look great!!

Thanks! I plan on the side skirts too but need to find them for a reasonable price. I also want the the same back appearance pieces like the ones you have on yours to complete the look. No idea what I want to do for a spoiler, the stock one just isn't quite enough and there is no finding a Mazdaspeed one for cheap ever.

The place I go to in Lakewood. Gotta get an adress for you. You havn't seen my 8 but it came out sweet. You also have to see the other jobs this guy does. He usually works on classic and muscel cars. Lots of lowrider work You should go down there for a quote. It's off of peirce and mississippi.
I should have my 8 there getting fixed late this week or early next week.

And the MS wing let me look. I've found a replica even a CF one to for a good price. I'll post it up if I find it.

Right, thanks Army and Greek. I'll check out Abra and once you get that info Greek let me know, I'll definitely get a quote if you really like the guy's work. I'm really hoping to keep costs down as my wife isn't that happiest of campers that I bought this without selling my other car.

Also would love to know about the wing provided it doesn't come too rough. Don't really want carbon fiber and replica for a wing kind of scares me a little as far as fitment goes. I know my bumper can be molded to fit if needed but the two piece wing I imagine is less forgiving.

UPDATE:

Here is a link for the CF MS wing. $509 and
Here is a link for an MS wing for $299

The CF Wing is made by Carbon creations. I think sometime in the summer I want to swith to the MS speed. might do the CF and paint the bottom shelf WB and leave the top adjustable shelf CF.

Lol, I responded to the links in the other thread :P

Any reviews on these guys? Do you know if the $299 includes paint? As far as I know the MS wings comes painted for like $500 which would be basically the same thing. I was hoping to avoid paying 5 bills for a spoiler.

LOL I jsut reponded to your response in the other thread I'll post it here to.

All I know about the CF one is that carbon creations makes a full CF bodykit so they should be good. The other guys I'm not so sure about thier work. And I think that it's unpainted. But it's one good deal compaerd to over a G that mazda wants.

It says that the brackets are made of high quality metal but nothing about what kind. My guess is it is steel or something. Just a heads up.

I remember finding an authentic Mazdaspeed wing painted for $500, I might just say screw it and go with that. At least I know what I am getting.
