Yeah, they're going for $127 apiece on Tire Rack right now. Someday I'll put AT tires on the Jeep, but as long as it's my sons' car, they get to do it.

I don't usually get the road hazard coverage on my tires, but then I haven't even so much as scraped a curb in probably 5 years. If I knew a teenager was going to be driving the car, I would definitely get it lol, cause I know what I did to cars as a teenager. But like you said, he's paying it, and he didn't pay for the road hazard, so now he has to pay for a new tire. It's cool that you're teaching him some personal responsibility.
