Was thinking of getting these wheels this spring when I swap back to the summer tires. Anybody have any opinions on these wheels. I don't think I can beat 16lbs wheels for $250 each. That's about 7lbs of weight saving per corner.

I know quite a few 6 folks were putting them on their car because they are some light suckers. I like 'em. Probably what I would've gone with had a not put stock Speed6 wheels on the hatch.

Those are the exact same rims I run on my Miata.
I love them.

The dual stem valve system allows you to pump up the tire with nitrogen, which density is independent of the temperature. (perfect for track days).

Yeah, those are good wheels. I've seen several cars with them at the track- but know of no one who actually utilizes the second valve stem to bleed out all the bad air.

Yeah, I am not too thrille about the red accented valve stems and the red center cap decal,
but for the weight vs. price I can get over it in a hurry.

How do the wheels hold up versus potholes? Am I going to need to dodge every little pothole on the road to avoid damaging this rim?

I doubt you'd need to worry too much about pot holes. Don't go searching for them, but occassionally hitting one shouldn't do any damage. These wheels are made with a low pressure casting process (you can read about it on Tire Rack's site) so they are better than gravity casting (how my Enkei wheels were formed).

Those are nice wheels. And for the weight. Not a bad buy at all. You can always replace the stem caps and the center cap with something else. Like a mazdaspeed one or something.

Yeah those are some nice wheels I say go for it! Just replace the ugly red valves ASAP.

Not bad lookin. Plus light as hell.

^This also depends on what series tires you are gonna be running... 45 now or if you choose to go to a 40/35 series.
Those wheels are nice! I like them on Gold which you might be able to get away with on Silver.

It's gonna depends on how much meat you have on your tires. I personally avoid all potholes on the road because the suspension on my Miata makes me feel everyone of them through my spine.

FYI, those rims are cast alloy, and while they are fine rims in small size, I doubt they can maintain their structural rigidity in your size of wheel (18") while under stressful conditions such as track or autocrossing.

I'd recommend forged rims if you gonna track them, but they are just fine if you just want to cruise around with.

My car is just a street cruiser. I would love to track it, but something about 2 tons worth of car scares the crap out of me at a real track. Sometime in the future i will go with a lower and lighter car for the track, but the speed6 won't see any serious track time.
