Who would have thought Christmas would come twice this year.... I will probably get working on the install Friday night or Saturday. I will post pics after I get them on.
Is anyone else running a full coilover set up?
Christmas in June....?

Hehe Thank you!
I was just goofing and took these with my Canon 400D and the kit lens. I also have a 50mm F1.8 and a 70-200 F4L. Processed with Adobe LR and CS2.

I got them for $1,160 shipped. I have seen them for a little cheaper online, but I wanted to get them from my local guy that I usually get all my crap from.
I like my cars fairly low, so I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5-1.8 in front and 1.3 to 1.5 rear, but we will see for sure after they are on.
How much did they set u back and how far are u dropping?

I have the bc 30 way adjustable coilovers. They are pretty awesome because I can really tell the differences between stiff and soft. Ultimately I would like to lower the car a little more, but thats the great part about them because they are so adjustable. Congrats btw I would be interested to hear how you like them!
Roadrnr06 was my leased 2006 Speed 6 which was purchased on 06-06-06. I have many fond memories of that car, and will be keeping my original profile as a memory of the great car that I once had.
My new user name is Roadrnr09 and showcases my new 09 Subaru WRX which I am very happy to have purchased as a replacement vehicle : )

Good stuff. Lots of Canon users here. How do you like the thrifty fifty? Im looking into getting a 50 1.4 and a 70-200 2.8. Im also heavily contemplating getting a 17-55 2.8.
Nice shots by the way. It shows that the kit lens isn't always worthless.

I was very close to going with the BC's because of the lead time on the H&R's, but I have always had H&R's on all my cars and loved them, so I decided to just wait it out. How much did you lower yours all said and done? Did yours come with the adjustable camber plates? I see that Street Unit charges extra for them now when I could have sworn they were included before.....

Very nice and thank you!! The 50 is OK and cant beat it for the price, but honestly I dont ever use it. LOL I had been using my friends 17-40 F4L, but after having for about 3 months, it was time to give it back... hahah I like that lens a lot, so that will probably be my next one or the 17-55...... I would love some 2.8 glass!
May be a topic for a different thread, but what is everyone else shotting with?

I will continue to jack this thread
I have heard and seen great things from the 17-40 f4L, but i really would like that extra focal length offered by the 17-55 2.8; it may not be labeled as "L" glass, but it so very much is. And the 70-200 2.8L is sex!
Oh and i don't know why i never said this before, but your photos are excellent! Composition, DOF, and lighting are spot on! Nice work!

Hahah no worries! I definitely like the extra focal length, but as always, price can be a factor and from what I have see the 17-40 is usually about 200-300 bucks cheaper. Yeah, just because it doesn't have the "L" designation, doesn't mean that IQ is sacrificed... I have see plenty of lens' that weren't an "L", but IQ was outstanding and right on par with the "L" series. And YES, that 70-200 2.8 is pure sex. My bother in-law used to work at Mikes Camera and picked up a 70-200 2.8L IS, but it seems pretty bulky to me. Definitely an awesome lens, but I am very happy with my F4L non IS... (I dont shoot a lot indoors) LOL

I do not upgrade the cambers, but they should be adjustable from the factory. I have lowered it probably an inch, judging by my inability to get in my driveway easily. I am going to go another half inch, I just wanted to let the springs settle first. It looks so good now though. I love it!
