I would think, its only a couple of bolts, but I guess there's been lots of problems with these, so I'm going to try and use that for my benefit. But I've heard they have to drop the entire diff to get it done. Oh well, we shall see!

Yep, I've heard lots of MS6 people talking about problems with the rear diff mounts. It's usually one of the first things they upgrade.

I have too, but this wasn't the mount, it was the bolts to the mount that broke. I think even if I had upgraded that mount I would be in the same situation cause it was the bolts. Ah well, it'll be looked at tomorrow, and hopefully fixed!

Exact same thing happened to me. The dealer had no problem repairing it under warranty. Mazda has made stronger replacement bolts specifically to address this issue.

Ah ok. I hadn't looked into specifics because I don't have a rear diff. :P

I'll have to check and see if they used the upgraded bolts on my rear diff mount when they replaced it. I'm hoping they did....

At least the bolts should be cheap, assuming nothing else broke due to the bolts popping out.

Well thats good to know!!! I had even told the service writer at the dealer about this and they just gave me a blank look haha, so hopefully the techs know more about it. Still waiting to hear back from them, dropped it off at 7 this morning.

If they don't help you, bring it down to Bob Penkhus Mazda in the Springs. You'd have to have it towed, but they'd fix you up. Still in warranty?

well according to mazda it has a 50k mile warranty for the drive train, so I should be good. Either way, I have a warranty thru penkhus (where i bought it from) thats extended.
