Sorry if this is in the wrong place but there's nothing for exhaust. The exhaust I ordered from TurboXS didn't work ok so after a discussion with my dad I decided to go with an electronic cutout. Cheap and probably more effective than the new exhaust. I'll probably order a new exhaust after deployment but for now I think this will work very well

Watch out for boost creek and boost spikes using an exhaust cutout. The sudden change from back pressure to no back pressure really messes with the the MS6 ECU, it may not be as bad on the RX8, but still something to watch out for.

as much as i dont want to comment i will... that is stupid dont do it... the pressure differences will effect so many things with fi.... this is something i was gonna do this past summer but didnt since i will eventually be going FI.

I agree, that is a bad idea on a turbo car.

My advice to you-

First and foremost, consult your tuner.

Make sure your tuner is comfortable tuning your setup prior to wasting cash. I would only assume a cutout on a turbo car would require some precise WGDC & OL/CL delay tuning.

Also keep in mind, while I'm sure quite a few exhausts on the market might not "bolt-up", that doesn't mean you can't take the exhaust to an exhaust shop and have it welded to your existing DP/MP. Some exhaust shops will even weld on extensions & flanges to make the exhaust bolt up. Something to keep in mind.
