need help speed 6 atp dp install

Hey guys trying to get the stock dp off need some tips to get the 5 bolts off the dp that connects to the turbo and getting it out.

take the alternator off with the three bolts holding it in place, and let it hang down, makes life much easier

Yea I've heard the alternator makes life hell getting the DP off on the MS6. With my MS3 I just used a lot of extensions and u-joints so I didn't have to try to get the ratchet down in there. Also, liberal use of PB Blaster helps, especially because your MS6 probably has a lot more miles than my MS3 had on it when I did my downpipe.

+1 on the alternator removal, also use plenty of penatrating lube on all nuts/studs and o2 sensors, if they've been in there awhile which I assume they have they end up welding themselves in their. If you need any advice OCD and I have done it many times!
