FC for sale in Bighton

I stumbled upon a red 88 fc vert for sale through the owners mechanic in
Brighton CO about 30 mi NE of denver.

It looks clean and unmolested to me. The mechanic seems to be an honest guy. The owner has owned it several years and moved so he has no more space for it. He was asking 4,700 now at 4,000 and the Mechanic said the owner is motivated. I would lowball him but I have now place for it or the availible cash. So I thougt I could post it here if anyone is interested.

new Bidgestone potenzas
trany rebuilt and new clutch 2009
new belts and hoses recently

Problem I noticed was a deep gash across the passenger side windshield frame. Possible deal breaker cause I think its a structually important factor.
May be exspensive to replace or repair. Find out first.
The other problem was a leak in the top admitted by owner.

I am the one who bought this car. The gash isn't actually on the windshield support it is only on the door metal in front of the passenger window. It should be an easy fix. P.S. I love my car!
