So my car is school (bollman) and I'm working on trying to get the intake out so I can get to the omp lines. Does anybody have any good how to instructions.

its fairly simple. disconnect the plastic intake runner. unbolt the throttle body and set it aside. you can usually leave the throttle cable connected but will have to disconnect any rubber hoses. disconnect all hoses to the intake manifold and unbolt the upper manifold.
you should take lots of pictures of all the vacuum hoses and electrical connectors so you can get everything put back into place properly.
its nice to see another rx7 vert out there.

Should I also disconnect the fuel line too? I forgot to mention that I'm also cleaning the 6th and 5th ports

You will need to disconnect the fuel lines if you are also removing the lower intake. Remove the fuel cap to help relieve any pressure. You will still have a little fuel in the lines so get a rag and put it under the line. Remove the line slowly and leave the rag outside to air out when you are done (last thing you want to do is set a garage on fire).
Call me if you have any questions. I can walk you through most of it. Also look through the FSM.

Look in the FSM page 4A-55.

its been a long while since I've worked on a stock na motor so I may miss some details off the top of my head.
Its a 3 piece manifold.. i think you can probably leave the throttle body connected to the plenum and unbolt the middle manifold from the lower manifold. you should be able to do this if you can access all the lower to mid manifold bolts. you will have to disconnect the fuel lines because the secondary fuel rail sets on top of the middle manifold.
to remove the lower manifold you will have to disconnect the 5/6th port actuator lines but im really forgetting what all is there on a stock block. As you start taking it apart it will become pretty obvious what has to be disconnected.
the biggest tip I can give you... is take it apart slowly. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. take lots of pictures and label vacuum, coolant, fuel lines very clearly. some masking tape and a sharpie will be your best friend. lol

ok so i ran into a problem, how do i remove the oil injectors to get to the banjo fitting? do use a 14mm slim line wrench to get them off? they seem pretty stuck on and i dont wanna strip anything

crescent wrench or even channel locks has worked for me.. Im a little confused about what the issue removing them are.. of course I'm also having a difficult time picturing where the 2 are on the manifold on a NA engine. And almost every rx7 ive worked on in years has been converted to premix.
pretty much you just rotate the big nut on top that has the vaccum line going into it. be gentle with the oil lines.. they are terribly fragile after being cooked for so long. then leave the banjo attached to the oil line.
If you can snap a picture I could probably help you a little more.

This is a picture of the GSL-SE intake. I figure the S4 is similar.

I was able to just use a wrench on it to get it off.

I'll have to look into that. it should be in the FSM
When I did mine, I installed them back where they fit.

there's pretty much only one way they will fit properly. be gentle with them tho... it sucks when you snap one off. you can buy a very similar tubing and rerun them if you do break one. they are the most brittle at the banjo fitting connection.
