Hi,
Anyone in the Denver area know how to create a MAP and flash it to their car. I've tried with my '07 RX8 and about given up. Guess it's over my head. I can do it if I see it done. I'm not completely computer dumb but sometimes I wonder. I'd appreciate the help

Are you trying to use an OTS Cobb map? If so its super easy. If you are talking about creating one from scratch you will need Access Tuner Race which is free to get through Cobb. I am pretty sure Cobb makes Off The Shelf tunes for RX8 but I could be wrong. Did you by the AP new?

I can help you out with tuning. The OTS maps from Cobb for the RX-8 are a joke (don't really change much) and only work if you have the OEM intake.

Making a tuning map as a newbie is extreamly dangerous...might want to talk to people and get help...

our motor is 1 of the 2 most unforgiving to tune... boosted...and high compression are no joke.

Agreed the OTS maps are not great. Also agreed that creating a map from scratch, esp for the Renesis is risky, even on an AP.
