So I'm not sure what the cause of this is but eversince I got the Aeroforce Interceptor Scangauge for my car I've had a problem where the Traction Control light is always on. I havn't checked fuses. Been lazy. I confirmed today that the TCS/DSC does not work when I spun the tires in first.

Here is where things get strange. If I turn the car off then back on right away the light goes off and TC/DSC works again. I have treid starting the car with the Aeroforce Interceptor unplugged from the OBDII port but the same thing happens.

Any thoughts on what it could be. I know that the TPMS that are in the wheels now do not function right. Will be replacing them with the set form a set of my stock wheels. I don't think that it's related in anyway to the TPMS but IDK.

TPMS won't affect how the traction control operates. Besides, the TPMS sensors you have came from me, right? They worked perfectly in my car, did you ever reset them for your car?

If you start the car without the Aeroforce plugged into the OBD-II, and NEVER plug it back in, will the DSC work with the light off? So then once you plug the Aeroforce into the OBD-II port the DSC turns off and the light on the dash comes on?

Yes they did come from your wheels. At first the Tire pressure light would start flashing at speeds greater than 60 MPH. Now I just always have a solid light. I have reset them several times with no success.

The Traction light comes on every first start or when there is some time between starts regardless of the Aeroforce being plugged in or not. I get several codes from the Access port regarding the TPMS but nothing shows up on the Aeroforce gauge about it. No code in regards to Traction Control or DSC.

Might be coincidence that it started happening when I got the aerofoce gauage or it might not be. I will check the Fuses tomorrow morning and write down what the codes are from the AP.

If the TPMS was flashing only above 60, then it was the air in your tires getting heating and causing the pressure to go over the TPMS threshold. This is why I didn't like having TPMS, because you are supposed to adjust your tire pressure COLD.

If the light is now always on, then either a TPMS sensor is not sending or receiving signal to the transponder, or a battery is dead in one or more of the sensors. I don't believe the batteries have ever been replaced.

The AP will sometimes also populate a "fake" CEL code, not sure why. It's a code that won't be listed, anywhere. No scan gauge will be able to pick it up, either, so that could be your situation.

Could be. Some of the codes came up in a google search a while back stating wich TPM sensor had an issue. I've tried everything from lowering tire pressure to inflating it up and nothing has worked, Maybe the batteries do need changing. Prehaps the Flashing TP light was letting me know batteries were dieing?

Oh and it started off only flashing at 60 then a few weeks later it was at anything over 40. What is the TPS Max. Threshold?

As far as the Traction light. This morning I strated the car with the Scan gauge with no light on. Soon after I plugged the scan gauge in..... I beleive the TEST light came on and the Traction light came on and TEST light went off. Will re-confirm later when I head back to Denver.

Looks like I'll have to go to the AeroForce forums. I didn't see anyone else have this problem over there so I thought it was just my car at fault. Looks to not be the case.
