For those of you who browse RX-8club you should know Charles R. Hill from BHR. Well he is selling Plugs for the 8 for $80 per set but will do $75 per set if I get 2 sets. So if anyone wants a set of plugs for their 8 please let me know ASAP and we cuold buy together. Mebe there could be a better deal if more buy but not sure how many of you need plugs.

Checkers if they were able to get the plugs, which they couldn't yesterday, sell them for $35 each. which is $140 for the set compared to $75. So buy now I guess.

Y yes it is. All cause Mazda doesn't want to check the coils till I first replace the spark plugs that have less than a year and less than 10,000 miles on them. And I am not gonna by the plugs from the dealer cause they are double of the above price. Mebe even more.

I would, but I'm waiting on the ignition upgrade kit to be released, and I'll be getting the plugs with that kit.

So I am correct in the fact that it is 4 plugs for $75?

Why are they so expensive? I wasn't aware that the renesis motors need special plugs...

I have absolutely no idea. They only want us to use the best NGK has to offer but they can't use an ignition system the is reliable.

That's weird, because NGK platinum plugs that fit the 13B-REW are only around $13 a piece, according to the advance auto / checker website.

http://www.partsamerica.com/productdetail....960&PTSet=A

And NAPA has them online for $8.49 -

Of course that's without tax and shipping. Still, I'm assuming it's the same plug?

We use the NGK Iridium series or whatever.

No price on the NAPA site. http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLM...&SubCatId=8

Ah, iridium...that explains the price difference. I think you can even get away with running the cheapo cheapie plugs in a normal 13B.

Ok so these came in today. Well yesterday but I wasn't home when Fed Ex stopped by. I bought the 2 sets cause I wasn't gonna pay what the dealer wanted. If you want to know how much the dealer wants PM me. I will be selling the extra set I have for $80. That is for 2 Leading and 2 Trailing NGK plugs. I know that above I said $75 but I had to pay $5 more since I payed via paypal.
