Weee... [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/61424796.gif[/img] Nothing major, more "looks" stuff than anything performance related. New B pillar covers (piano black, glossy instead of the dull tape on there now) and a new parking brake lever. The chrome chipped off the button of the old one, so I'm using that as an excuse. I figure while I have the center console apart for the short shifter, might as well do this at the same time. Just a coupla interior things left that I want to do, and those are inexpensive. The stereo stays stock for now. I don't like the looks of aftermarket replacement kits with the Mazda built in head units.

That should be it for a while. Well, maybe. Haha. I just want the interior all done at once rather than a little here, a little there. A couple of piano black trim pieces left for the inside, a bit of touch up on the console silver trim pieces, and that's it. I'm not a huge fan of overly custom interiors. As with the 6, I still prefer an overall "from the factory" type look.

For sure! But being so close to winter, I'll probably hold off until early next year before I make those changes. I've gotta save up for those coilovers and forced induction! Wait, who said anything about FI?

Oh no! My shortshifter arrived today. It's going to be hard to hold off installing that until the parking brake lever come in. I'd rather take things apart only once!

The first of the non-cosmetic mods. One of a few, I'm sure:

You gonna use the stock knob on that thing or are you going to put a proper knob on there?

Patience, patience! Actually, I think I'll just use the nub on the end as it sits now. Haha! I haven't checked out any different knobs yet. I kinda like the feel of the stock one right now. That's an easy change, though. I'm open to suggestions....
