• First decent day for paint

So since today was a decent day for paint figured id get a lil done. What do you guys think?

Very Nice. I've done the same thing. Blue door panels on mine. On the engine cover....You paint the lettering black? I'm looking for a good way to tape the letters off and mazda logo becuause I want to paint the middle of my engine cover blue and leave just that little rotary rim part black. <a href="http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=si&img=642" target="_blank">

greek its called a sharpe hehe about 5 times over it it will look like a nice paint job

I like the engine cover, something I may do in the future. For the red door panels, I'm wondering if it may look a little better if you sourced some of the red leather door panels from someone.

The symbol is just held on with a double sided 3M pad. I peeled it off and glued it back on. As for the letters i did them free hand with a touch up paint tube, and then clear coated the whole thing bout 4 times.

I can't remember...is the "Renesis" imprinted/raised lettering. Basically...it's not a decal. Correct?

Edit: Just checked my own pictures. It's raised molded lettering. I'll have to get a decal made...

Or just primer the whole thing and hand paint the letters the color you want after you spray down the area with the paint color you want. I primered and painted the whole thing and hand did the letters black before i clear coated.
