Thanks! I think they are a little more obtrusive than I thought they'd be actually lol.

What caused you to need pins? Haven't you been running without them? They don't seem to fit with how smooth your car is, to me at least (not that you asked for my opinion). Nice clean install though I think the aerocatches would fit the build better. Definately understand the concern about cutting the hood though.

I'm thinking AeroCatch, cutting the hood is so easy if you have a dremel and some cutting disc's.

My OEM hood was bowing at highway speeds, It started after I installed the V-Mount.

Or looking at it maybe if you paint them all black.

I had to have them because my hood is fiberglass and it was wobbling when going down the highway. When I was driving home on leave I looked through the vents and saw a gap between the front of the hood and the bumper. I looked at the hook on the hood and there was cracking around it. I'm not sure if they were already there or if stress did that, but I don't care for the idea of my hood flying back and smashing my windshield and the roof.

I don't think it flows very well with the smoothness of the car either, and originally I was going to get Aerocatch, but decided against them because I felt they had too large of a footprint. But now I think I might go ahead and swap out to those lol. I actually got these hood pins from Carol Mak that used to own the eggplant FD that was on the cover of Import Tuner a couple months ago.

Yeah I'm not too afraid of cutting the hood now lol. I might look into getting some Aerocatch latches now. I still can't believe your stock hood was bowing like that, even with a VMIC. That's just crazy.

One other thing I love about having hood pins though, it makes the hood fit right finally haha. It's not sitting higher than the fenders now, at least not until all the way in the back. And it's uniform on both sides now too. So I might go ahead and just get this hood prepped and sprayed or at least ready for the vinyl wrap.

Finally got the SBG fire extinguisher mount today. And finally I received something that fit correctly without any modification LOL. I installed it in about 20 minutes today.

Looking at it now, I might have to move the extinguisher towards the door more, it might hit the floor when trying to move the seat forward with the way it's mounted right now.

I also got the Border Racing radiator cooling plate a week or two ago, and I just started tonight to try to make a copy of it to fit my setup. The BR one is a little too deep and rests on my IC, it won't sit down between the bumper and IC unless I cut some off, and I'm not going to do that to this one. I'm going to cut a sheet of aluminum tomorrow to make a test mold, and if it works out I'll just use that one. Possibly paint it or get it powder coated, and I'm thinking of putting stickers on that piece but I'm not sure.

I also have this shot that one of the guys took when I was home on leave.

Thanks! Some of those pics are already floating all over the internet actually. Every now and then I get someone tagging me on facebook with a pic found somewhere else. It really blew up when they were first taken back in October.

Thanks buddy! I just thought it was kinda cool. I'm not sure who made it. It says Modified down in the corner but that might have just been on the pic of the Supra already.
