FD is back together installed a metal gasket on the front cover and done deal. Getting 40 psi at idle over a 100 at 3k rpm lol.

Also received the Aquamist 1s system in the mail today. Was going to install it today but the nozzle is m8 and my elbow is tapped for 1/8npt so i need an adapter. Also my windshield fluid reservoir is cracked so I need a new one or get an aftermarket tank and put it somewhere else.

So, why didn't you come out with us tonight then? LOL jk

Is the Aquamist nozzle bigger than the 1/8NPT? If so you could just drill the hole bigger and tap it for this nozzle. Not likely you'd ever go back to 1/8 anyway. That way you wouldn't have to wait even longer for parts to come in.

I have an old reservoir that's still good, just yellowed from the heat, but you can put your filler neck on it if it looks better than the one I have. Where is yours cracked?

Lol I was watching Chernobyl Diary with the wife. The nozzle is smaller than 1/8 npt, aquamist sells an adapter for that.

I don't know where is cracked, all I know is that is leaking pretty bad lol.

Excuses, Excuses. LOL

Well I have an extra reservoir if you wanna give it a shot. That way maybe you won't have to buy one.

You do understand though that I'll have to find it first, right? LOL

I haven't done anything to the car for a while because I was in the field, now Im back and got to work lol. Got rid of the double din deck I had now I have a single din radio and a triple din pod from Thompson Automotive ( http://www.thompson-automotive.com/catalog/item/2577811/2029659.htm ). Now I have oil press, fuel press and oil temp good stuff to know.

Also begin installing the Aquamist WI system so far I had the tap the elbow because the adapter I bought broke inside the welded bung so I had to tap next to it.

Image

Pump is mounted, I used one of the radiator mount but had to sacrifice a tow hook. Also took the windshield fluid reservoir out and is leaking from the pump seal and the neck is dry rotted.

I'll be installing a green indicator light for when the pump is running and a red for low level warning.

That's the same gauge pod I got, but mine is hacked up now lol. Did you have to heat up and bend the tabs on the back so it stays snug in there, or is it falling out when you boost? I had that problem.

Thanks, Im in the process of getting of installing new badges on my FD ( flying M emblems) Don't feel like paying almost 80 bucks for the real 99 spec badges so Im shopping around. I bought an RX8 emblem and went ahead and put it on the front bumper i think it looks good IMO what you guys think?

Pro Star, 15x8 rear and 15x4 front. Still debating on tires, I want something suitable for street use.
