First, welcome! More rotaries is more good!

What are you doing herey? Work? School? Can you say "Nope, not driving today." If you have that option, use it once or twice.

As others wrote, we get snowstorms. It usualy clear ups within 12-48 hours due to weather and the hardworking snowplow folks.

I strongly recommend very good snow tires. Don't try it on all seasons or lame snows. If your shocks or anti-roll bars are adjustable, soften them as much as possible in rain or snow.

And, yes, go practice in a parking lot. Have fun. You'll like it here - we make up for the lack of beach with other good stuff.

all i gotta say is texas heat sucks. i rather be in 0 degree weather lol
