I might drive the black fc to sevenstock but ill most likely trailer it since I don't really wanna drive that far. I'm definitely going this year though.
True. I drove mine all the way from Littleton to NC with no problems. I didn't run into any deer though haha.
Yeah driving that far might be kinda uncomfortable, but we'd have to get them off the trailer before we made it into town so everyone thought we drove haha. Me, Simon and Zico had agreed to make it this year, but I'm not sure I'll be ready. Not to mention I'll be getting married the next week or so after that haha.

Well, luckily you got a '93 so interior pieces are still readily available. Ask Eric how difficult it is for him to get interior pieces for his '94 haha!

Which pieces do you need? Lemme guess...the map pocket door on the driver's door panel is one, right? LOL Then, the stereo surround and gauge hood? Or do you need the piece that separates the cabin from the hatch, the one that goes missing all the time? Oh no, I got it, the passenger side door handle. Yep, that's gotta be it. LOL You gotta love the FD interior. They definitely didn't put as much thought into the lifetime of the interior as they did into the gorgeous and thoughtful design of the car, including weight reduction. It's awesome having an Enkei for a spare and an aluminum jack haha. Also awesome that Honda put so much work into the NSX to make it light and the RX-7 is still lighter LOL.
chickenwafer wrote:I just couldn't believe the fuel mileage he got. True, with the bigger turbo it made it more difficult to get into boost, and it was running very low boost, but still...28mpg??! I never got near that on the highway in my 8...
Yeah that is ridiculously great fuel mileage for an FD, or probably for rotaries in general. I've literally watched my fuel gauge go down as I got into boost before, and that was on a completely stock FD.

Hey now, don't talk like that...Kellen said she'll still allow me to modify the FD, as long as I run all parts requests by her first LOL. Actually she wants me to keep working on it if I want to, that's what she has said anyway. We'll see if things change after marriage. If they do, we may have some troubled waters ahead because I don't like people that promise one thing and deliver another, especially when it comes to the car. But I think she is true to her word.

They're functional if you cut the fender liner to allow air to flow through HAHA. Well, that's how they are on my car anyway but mine is a touring model. Maybe the R1/R2 and other models had the fender liners cut for it already. But I think there is actually ducting built into the back of the liner to carry air to the ducts, you just have to cut a chunk out of the liner...which I think I will do when I get home haha.

Yeah they don't make '94-'95 interior pieces anymore, but they still make '93 pieces
. I paid $350 for a USED stereo surround piece a couple years ago. If I'd known better at the time I would have just fixed my broken piece, sanded all my pieces down and covered them with the spray-can bedliner you can get at Wal-Mart like another guy did...looks better than stock. But I have other plans now...if I ever get around to it and as long as Kellen keeps her word haha.Who is online
