AHaha! Either idea works for me. The only was i could see the each month is a different model, is if its more than one car; ie. a group of ms3's and a group of 6's ect ect. OR if we can get that technical, choose one of the visually different models from each section, use it as the main photo and then at the bottom of the photo in smaller box photos the rest of the guys and gals same models. Dose that make sense? EX: RX-8 month: Say Jimmy's RX-8 for the main large photo and then the rest of the RX-8 (or however many we can fit) in a smaller insert at the bottom of the photo.

I like that idea as well, cause then we can still get the whole club in the calendar, but have the visually nice cars as the main pinpoint.

i liike that idea and all but the problem i'm thinking would be with the 7's cause there are three different body styles and i think the protages have the same problem?????


but yeah i think for the cover if we can acctually get all the club together for a picture that would be a great cover

good to hear, but I am not sure we have the time to pull this off by the end of the year.
it is a crazy busy time, and the holidays in the middle doesn't help...

Guido, it doesn't take that long to take pictures of cars, go to wal-mart, kinkos, mikes camera etc and get a calendar printed.... we have a month. What a way to have faith in the group... nice going.

I would just say 12 different models that way its shows its not just a rx-8 club/rx7 its a club for all mazdas and a cmzc calender with just a few unique cars might make it look like we only want that kind. who knows i may not be right on that hehe we could even do a few pics per month so we can get allot of the people in the club on it just a idea

First, you make everyone hate you. nothing new there. And you completetly miss things constantly. J/K But I did say that we should work on pics all this coming year ie. 2008 and release the Calender for the following year, 2009.

You make it sound soooo simple, BUT IT"S NOT. Sorry tired and cranky tonight. If this is to be done I think we should release it NOV. 2008 for a 2009 Calendar. This would also be good advertisements for the club. We could possibly in theory give a few out to restraunts and bars. They will hang them up and hopefully we could get new members. Of course we all would have to pay for our own calendars to hang in our homes/workpace.

I'm going to stick with 12 models. That way it shows off the club as a whole and doesn't single anyone out. Also I was thinking that the little picture ideas (AKA. Thumbnails) on the bottom of a main pic would be good to. For the main pic, It would be best IMO if we get 2-3 or 4 of the most visual cars of each modle in the pic. EX. One 8 being the focal point and 1-3 in the background. For the 7's although they are different types they are still 7's. (I don't think we have and 3rd GEN.7's that have shown up to meets yet.) since there are only 3 7's that are on here constantly you all could just have one page. The nicer one, not sure whos it is, in the front and the other 2 in the back.

I hope this is making sense.

Back to the thumbnails. For the models where there are more than 3 cars or cars of the same color we could use the thumb nails. Let me use the 6's right now. This includes the speed6. We have Lee, Guido, ect .... who have 6's/S6's. Well lee's and guidos are both white. Pointless to have two whites in the main pic. So we kick Guido out because he sucks. and put him down as a thumbnail. Lee is the main focus in the big pic. Say we have 3 red 6's, The nicer will go in the big pic with lee and the rest thumbnailed. Kinda get it? Hard to explain when your writing it down. LOL. This would be true for the 8's also and 3's. It wouldn't make sense to showcase 3 Titanium Grey 8's in the main pic so we choose one and thumbnail the rest. Also, the cars chosen for the main shot would get their own thumbnails.

If this makes any sense let me know. If it doesn't let me know. keep Ideas coming. We have a whole year to plan.

ok i get it and if we really want to do this for 09 than that gives me a grip of time to get mine looking good (i.e. bodykit and wing) but yeah greek i get what your saying
