It shouldn't be too hard. If I figured out how to take off my front bumper to install my CAI, then I should be able to get this too.

Chris/ Huzer Thanks for the support. If I run into any road blocks I will let you know. Plus when I do it I will snap some pics and try and write as nice a review as Huzer.

You gonna do the swap at the Car Craft center on post? Lemme know ill swing in and check it out.

Did you get them thru the guy on RX8 club? You keepin your plug wires or you gonna swap those out too? I gotta get back on there. I never bothered with RX8 club much.

all you have to do is PM Charles R. Hill (Black Halo RAcing). HE will then add you to the waiting list. Once your coils are 7 to 10 days from shipping he will PM you with his Paypal info.

I will probably do the swap at my house in the drive way. I will let you know when I do it (on a weekend). If you want to stop by you can.

Huzer - did this upgrade affect your AP tune at all?

Nope, didn't mess with the tune at all.

Nope, no threadjacking here. It's still on topic to the BHR Coil Kit!

The new terminals on the plug wires clean the look up quite a bit. Before, they were a straight terminal that was kind of bent to some degree. Now they're a 90 degree pre-bent terminal (at the coil). I'll snap some pics when I get a chance this weekend.

Typical for BHR (it seems)...he sent the new wires to me, and simply asked to return the old wires when I can. Not that I expect it from most (if any) vendors, but imagine if anytime an upgrade was made to a part you bought, they sent you the upgraded part (without you asking for it), and simply asked you to return the old? pretty cool.

That's sweet.... But it'd be nice if they get this list moving..... I've recieved no PM for my kit yet.... But it's ok.... That money is being spent at getting rid of the random missfire problem....
