They dont' have an AWD dyno, so us speed6 guys are left out...and learjet with his legacy.

Why does one put a car on a dyno if they aren't going to be tuning it?

1. Curiosity.

2. Baseline in case you ever do mod it, so you know how much you're starting with and compare how much you get out of your mods.

If you're never going to mod the car then yea it is kind of pointless unless you really are just curious, and $40 for two pulls is pretty cheap.

As mentioned above, curiosity. I'll probably never do anything to my Legacy, but I'm still just really curious about the kind of power it actually puts out to the wheels here at altitude.

The guys at finish line are pretty talented. They have tuned my Miata 3 times and have been pleased. Greg and Johnny, the owners, are good guys. Their dyno days are fun as well, a good variety of cars to watch and see how they run

The dyno operator will typically drive the car.

I think you are at 170hp crank rated, so I'd say you are in the 120-130whp range, corrected (which actually accounts for altitude via SAE correction). Uncorrected results can vary, but that's why dyno's are best used as tuning mechanisms for before/after mods instead... they can have inconsistencies.

That's kind of cool. I wouldn't mind knowing what my stage1 SAAB 900 is actually putting down at the wheels.

I only put down 297 and 316 torque
