Ever since the event was unexpectly cancelled earlier this year, Mazda of Lakewood was committed to make it up to the Club. Mel (owner) wanted some time to restaff key positions in his Service and Parts Departments. About 10 days-ago, I met with Mel and he introduced me to his Service Manager - Alex and Parts Manager - Henry (Spoolinfd). We agreed to re-schedule for:

Mazda Tech Day
Date: May 21, 2011
Time: 8:0am - 1:00pm
Location: Mazda of Lakewood

Planned Activities
* Introduction of Club Members to Service and Parts Staff
* Q & A with Mazda Techs including 2 Master Techs
Including discussion on dealership warranty issues and practices
Information on Service and Maintenance on all Mazda Models;
including rotaries.
* Demonstration of newest diagonostic equipment.
* Free Basic Inspection/Diagnostic as time provides.
* Pizza Lunch

Please sign-up so the Service Department knows how many vehicles to prepare for:

Henry (spoolinfd) the Parts Department Manager will be monitoring this thread and will answer questions you may have. He is also checking on Service Discounts, so if you have any service needs post hem up.

Oh, and I'll be there, but I don't need anything done with my car.

Sorry. Once they offered to close their service center and make all their Mazda Techs available on Saturday it was hard to push for a Sunday. The techs don't work on Sundays.

I figured as much. I thought something seemed wrong with doing it on a Sunday! It's all cool though! At least we've actually got it set up again!

Talked to MOL Service Manager Alex this morning.
Everything is confirmed. I told him I would give him a call this Friday with an update on interest.
