Postby christi » Wed Mar 16, 2011 9:14

Hi guys...

I was thinking. Everyone doesn't have to go that's going to the cruise, but I have a thought - I'd love to set up like after 8pm-830pm (gives me time to drive home from work (pueblo) to (springs) then up to denver... for a few hours of hitting pins.... anyone up for it?

3. Learjet45 (Maybe)
4. Henry

Address:
2200 S. Peoria
Aurora‎ CO
United States

Meet up around 830-9pm, is when the lanes open.

Lol. I might show up.
There's a Brunswick zone out south in my area, it's huge. It would be a bit more expensive than say an AMF or Arapahoe Bowling, but there's also a little arcade and lazer tag, as well as the mall and movie theater right nearby

Are you thinking of the one in Aurora? Depending on circumstances, I may be able to do the one in Aurora and get some discounts....

The one I'm thinking of is the Lone Tree one (on Kimmer Dr). It's an "XL" Brunswick Zone: 48 lanes, 9 pool tables, bar, etc.

Almost any bowling alley we go to on a Saturday night will require waiting for a lane. Not that it has that many more lanes (48 vs 40 at the Aurora one), but it also has the other activities like pool (I love pool :p) and there's also some other stuff to do nearby (kinda lol).

The Brunswick in Aurora says 2200 South Peoria as an address. Closest major intersection would be Peoria and Iliff.

That AMF on county line and university is the other place I was referring to. It would be probably have a smaller wait time for a lane if we don't reserve lanes ahead of time as well as end up being a bit cheaper. But not as much stuff to do.

Except if you know someone who works at a bowling alley and register for in advance :) :P
Either way i'm up for it. I'll find out more tomorrow/Friday.... But so far:

Yeah. Either way, if I can get discounts , it's better (Henry can back me up on this). And yes, that's the correct address :)

Well yeah. I mean if we get a decent idea by Saturday morning on how many people will show up we can just reserve a lane. But at the same time, we could do that at like any other bowling alley that isn't a brunswick zone and get the same price as the discounted one at brunswick most likely because they are a bit more expensive than the other places.

heck, I just went onto the AMF site and gave em one of my emails I never check often and got a coupon for $20 off a group of 4 or more.

And I take that back, arapahoe bowling lanes is $4.50/game on Saturday nights while brunswick zone is $5. Not sure about AMF though, no pricing online that I can find.

ughh. I'd prefer if it wasn't south at all. But if we can get a cheap price and reserved lanes the Aurora one sounds like a go.
