[color="DarkOrchid"]Hey guys...
I was thinking - how about a drive up to black forest or lookout mouton one day as a meet up day? I went there this weekend and lookout mtn is pretty with the corners. Although you have to be careful of other cars and cooking up close onto them for the cops around that area. But what do you think ?

I say we do it.. maybe during tech day, or after tech day that week .. or whatever is good for ya'll? The only thing about the speed driving down Lookout Mtn., is the cops. I actually got pulled over last night due to people calling on me and a all that jazz, ha ah. Apparently it's best to drive there @ night after midnight; but during the day *I'd* love to go. Too bad there's not a good "pit stop" to take photos of our cars.
Isn't there some other drives around the Springs/Denver area up in mountains like Lookout.. .that we can take a drive..and photo shoot?

I like Squaw Pass Road (CO-103), Deer Creek (Canyon) -> High Grade Road, they're higher in elevation, less traffic. Dunno about Squaw in Feb-March, it was serious business in Nov. Deer Creek->High Grade->Pleasant Park to Conifer is a neat route, even more if you're starting at the top of Turkey Creek.
Though maybe now's a good time to drive Lariat Loop / Lookout Mountain Road, I assume what you were on when you were up there... I drove down from Genesse to Golden on it last summer, was choked with cyclists and other cars, at least that's what I remember of it from the switchbacks.

I say lets pick something

I love driving -- and doing photo shoots. It's my life

That, and I'm still fairly new to the CO area; if you guys have a different route to cruise on -- post up, pick a date, lets do something! :P

Lookout Mountain is usually a bad idea for a group drive like that. It's a gorgeous drive, but not a fun one most of the time. Too many people, cars, bikes, cops, bikes, slow drivers. Chromal has better routes. I also like Morrison to Evergreen, but even that one gets pretty crowded nowadays.

We did look out mt. way back in the day. It was a fun drive at night after our sonic/hamburger stand meets.

I'm up for anything, sadly anything during the week is offlimits for me and saturdays until like 630-645PM. Fridays/sundays I'm in the go.
I'm looking for whenever - it appears most of the next week is going to be smooth; but I also don't want to get caught in a storm either... seeing as colorado's predictions on weather sucks ha ha.
You guys know more about CO than me, pick a place and day

I like some roads around southeast aurora but they are straight roads. I'll love to join you guys, I can do weekends (except today I'm sick) I'll be checking back to see if you guys/girls get a date and place together.
