CRUISE! Sunday March 7th

Postby bmwzoom » Tue Mar 02, 2010 9:14

Sunday, March 7th, 2010
Meet @ 10:30am at the Coors Events Center (Southwest of 28th and Colorado in south Boulder)
Leave @ 11:00a for drive. I will have Mapquest directions printed out for everyone just in case.

From Boulder...
-Canyon Blvd about 17 miles west to Nederland
-Stop in Nederland for break, you will be able to use restrooms or get food/drink
-Hwy 119 south about 9 miles to Hwy 46 East
-Hwy 46 East (Golden Gate Canyon Rd) for about 17 miles to Hwy 93 into Golden

We'll wrap up in Golden though. Anyone is welcome to grab food at that time or leave the group whenever.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Quick few things to remember before we go...
1. Check tire pressures
2. Get enough gas
3. A cruise is just that, a cruise. Racing, illegal passing, and any crazy maneuvers are unacceptable. We're not blazing a trail. We're car people going on a drive...don't worry, we'll still have fun without going 100mph through a canyon.
4. If you have bald tires or less than 10-15% brake pad left, you probably shouldn't go on this drive...or any for that matter.

all these cruises up north that I'd have to drive at least an hour and a half to even get to the start of it.

Too far north for me, but maybe there will be a more southerly one someday.
