I sent out a mass text to gauge interest in a cruise around Mt. Evans on Sunday, October 4th, which next weekend. We would meet at the Conoco gas station next to Bandimere and head to I-70 west. Then take the Evergreen Parkway exit to the Mt. Evans road (sorry I can't remember the highway off the top of my head). Then it takes you down into Idaho Springs and then we would get back on I-70 east bound from there into Denver. If weather is bad, then we will deal with it at that time. For now, lets assume we will have clear roads!

Anyway, I had quite a few people interested so I wanted to let you all know that this will be going on. Everyone is welcome! PM me if you have any questions

Start time? What time do you think we will be back? I'm asking because I have a game that night.

I would say we meet at 1:00pm and probably get into Denver (area) around 3:30. This depends on how many stops we make and if we get going at a decent time

I don't mind starting at three at all.... just want to make sure we have plenty of light because where we are driving has LOTS of deer. I see them every single time I take this cruise.

My game is not until 8 so I'd be down to go.

I've heard, and elk in Evergreen are charging cars now. I think I'm going to stay CLEAR of them. I have enough issues hearing my Bambi story over and over again.

So does that mean you will go but only if we start early, or that you are not going to go at all because of the possibility?
