Winter Tune Up meet?

Postby MazdaTom » Tue Sep 30, 2008 9:14

I know it would probably a bigger hassle to toss your winter tires in the back seat and haul them over to someone's house just to change tires there and have to haul the summer tires back- BUT who would be up for a little winter tune up meet?

  • Swap out the summer wheels for the winter ones.
  • wash and wax the summer wheels
  • oil change
  • cone filter cleaning
  • wash and wax the car
  • interior cleaning
  • anything else you can think of.....like beer and maybe a BBQ.
Just an idea. Something different than regular car show type meets.

I'm game. I just did an oil change/air filter last Friday, but wash/wax and whatever else (and beer/bbq) sounds good to me.

I plan on paking the RX for the rest of the year (vary soon), so i don't have to do anything to my car, but i am down to help out any and all that do. If you set that up, i am willing to hang out and help.

I would have loved to make a "winterizing" meet, especially with the forecasted weather. Instead, I'll be enjoying the lovely Seattle weather. 50s and rain!

And as the thread starter, I'm going to be in Connecticut enjoying whatever that place has to offer.
