I know most of you have probably heard by now that NOPI has cancelled their event at Bandimere next week. Also, the event in UTAH, next month as also been cancelled. Here is a link to their press release.

Now for those of you looking to do something that weekend that doesn’t involve racing. Car Toys WILL be having a Car Show at Southwest Plaza (Bowles and Wadsworth). It will be Friday Night, June 20th, from 6-10pm. Move in for the event will be from 4-7pm to accommodate anyone who works a full day on Fridays. Trophies should be wrapped up by 10pm. It will also be judged with nothing peoples choice. There will be 25 trophies including Best of Show and some specialty trophies. I think they said something about GC for the winners as well. Classes for Japanese Imports, Domestics, Euro, Trucks and Old School.

Yeah, $20 entry fee. thought I posted that, but guess I didnt. My bad. Surprisingly enough, i dont think CT has any sound meters, so with this being such short notice, cant really do a sound comp. Although it should happen. But im just doing what I can with the time contraints.

ya,, sadly with them being a Car Audio shop, they havent had a Soundoff at this TENT SALE for about 4yrs now.. I think its stupid, but I guess they are just to busy trying to make money on all the "B" stock goods they have and dont have the time to do a Sound off comp..

Actually, we did one at the Tent Sale in 2006 when I was called 24 hours before the event to run it for the shady out of state promoters for that years event. Joe Labota (spelling??) had his equipment and handled it for me. if someone brought equipment, we could do something informal, but not sure if there would be enough time during the event.

hmm, maybe we can get Lenny to do it... he did the Dash work shows..


or maybe Bryan from on here,, MIGHHIGHSOUNDS.. maybe he can put something together quickly, only thing is though, would car toys allow another shop to do this?

And I know JOE,, hes a great guy..
