Nice to see all those Mazdas on Saturday. There are a bunch of nice cars. Not enough first gens though :P . Guess I could have brought mine on the trailer. Blasting around the Garden of the Gods would be fun  . Nahh, too many tourists to dodge.
My club is staging another ice autocross if any of you are feeling adventurous.

I didn't know he had a cage.

I remember seeing a CRX at the track in GJ with a cage and no interior. Its fastest time was like 17 somthing.

WOW.. that is seriously all you guys did?? Not much of a cruz eh... well then I guess I will make a perposal to you all for a spring time CRUISE and not just a meet in a parking lot then heading home.. I think we should all take wee lil drive.. nothing to much. its only around 200miles or so... heres my thoughts.

We all meet up some where kinda central.. Im thinking like Monument cause that will bring up the Colosprgs guys and not to bad for the Denver guys either.. We all meet say around 8am wait for others to show and leave no later than 9am. We head south and then into the mountains.. The trip that I am thinking is that we head up Hwy 24, and take the nice long road up to Breckenridge where we can all stop, have lunch a few drinks, and BS for a while.. Then on the way home, we take I-70 back home and once we get to Morrison or the I-70/C-470 interchange we can all part ways there.. How does that sound like for a day of fun of actually getting out and driving for a bit and seeing the beautiful Colorado Rockies!! Heres a map of what the route would take us..

Map of route.

Depending on how long we do lunch,, ( I'd figure atleast an 1 1/2 to 2hrs for lunch and resting) the whole trip from start to finish would be about 6-7 hrs or so. If any of you would like to maybe think about doing this, then lets start getting a sign up list and figuring out what date would work the best for everyone. Im thinking as long as the weather holds, maybe try this in late March or April.

I just figure it is something more for us to do then to just meet in a parking lot and then leave after that... This way we can actually get out and cruz as a group and have fun..

Yeah we did that with the Bishop Castle Cruise... It was a fun cruise, just no one realized how LONG of a cruise it was and a lot of us had to get back by 6 that night and none of us knew where we were.. But if we actually plan to take that long of a cruise and know what to expect I think it would be fun!

That's been something I've wanted to do as well. I think some folks may be gun shy after the 8 hour Springs cruise last fall.
