It's a good spot. I rode my mountain bike over that bridge... I started in Castle Rock. It was for the MS150. It was hot!!

That was back in 2005. I rode a mountain bike, in July, which made it even more fun! I think it was 100+ each day. Two years before that, the ride was from Interlocken Level-3 to Estes Park and back. We rode up Devil’s Gulch which is a nice little climb... approx. 1 mile in length and with grades up to 16%--its wicked steep. Devil’s Gulch is one of the few things steeper than Lee Hill Road. At the top, they handed out medals for those who rode up and then I had a nice little 50mph+ ride down into Estes Park. There was over 31 miles of climbing on Day 1.

I'm hoping to get back into riding now that the kids are bigger. I have 3 bikes and a trailer. :26fdf3e6:

Did you get a ride for the grill? We won't need to bring EZ-ups now.

I like the strip club idea!

Seriously though, Paintball would rock as would go karts. I am going whitewater rafting at the gorge next weekend. It is a fun place.

I would also think it would be cool to organize some dodgeball!

So in this order...
1. Paintball
2. Go-Karts
3. Dodgeball/Kickball
4. Royal Gorge or similar "photogenic" spot

I'd be up for kickball, and a drive down to the Gorge (or something similar) It's a long way off, but we should definitely go to Vail for the Colorado Grand, as well. Heck, I'm going regardless to that one, meet or not.

1. Kickball seems like a good easy one...Cuernavaca Park (downtown Denver nearish to REI) is really good for that. Also would be a cheap meet!
2. Go-karts!

For driving type meets:
1. The Gorge would be a great drive, I've been there a couple of times.
2. A Ghost Town cruise up into the mountains somewhere would be cool.
3. Drive up to Blackhawk?
