I'm gunna go w/ Hawk HPS. I looked into the EBC pads, and since my car is so f'ing heaving I need the expensive ones, plus the Hawk ones seem to have the most similar characteristics to the stock pads, which imho, where damn good.

The HP+ apparently are squeaky as all get out, hence why i'm not going w/ them, my car squeaks now, and I hate it.

Hey I think I'm gonna make it to this! I've been wanting to try these karts out ever since I first heard about it. Won't be able to stick around for the meet / show though :(

Speed Raceway is opening up early for us! Come on down and run the track before you go to your autocross! Spread the word that you do not have to own a Mazda to come hang out with us. I do want to make sure the fastest person of the day owns a Mazda though! LOL

Call me with any questions....

I honestly think you will fit! I have a buddy that is 6'5 and he fit fine. There are a lot of room on these. They are also a lot faster then you would expect for an electric kart. They will go up to 48 miles per hour.

Cost is $20 per race or $50 for 3 races of 12 laps each. Maybe I can come up with a prize for the fastest time of the day!

For those leaving from CS tomorrow...I'm planning on meeting at Chapel Hills mall at 8-815, leaving by 830. Sound good? Please call me and let me know you're coming so we'll wait for you if you're a few minutes late...cause I know I will be LOL.

So I fail at waking up early and didn't make it down there until everyone was leaving, haha. I raced with a few of my friends afterward though. I'm curious, what kind of lap times were you guys running? My best was a 26.8. Lots of room for improvement.

All I know is Eric was the slowest! They kept waiving the "Let the faster dude behind you" pass flag at him! haha

Oh yeah, I was definitely the slowest, at least in my group haha. And here I was thinking I wasn't doing too bad, all while people were piling up behind me LOL. That's why I'm glad the real streets aren't the same, where I can have a single turbo FD to make up for my weight instead of having to drive the same car with the same specs as little guys LOL.
