Sounds like it would be fun although Mt Evans road is closed for the season. Will reopen May 28th. http://www.mountevans.com/

I apologize for not being more clear.... this road we take is one that gets you to the official Mt. Evans road but it continues down into Idaho Springs. So technically we aren't/can't get on Mt. Evans but it was the closest land mark I could use so people know the general area. Plus I hear that road can be pretty rough and know most of our members won't want to actually drive that road if it was open. Hope that clarifies what my idea is...

I wish I could make it, but it is one week too early, I will be in colorado on OCT. 10, does anyone know if anything is going on? That weekend is my wifes 20th class reunion and I am sure that my son and I would be willing to duck out early to do something else! LOL, have fun on the cruise.
P.S. Does anyone know if the road track that is close to Deer Trail, CO (cant remember the name, but I know there has been a post about it not too long ago) will be open for open driving on OCT. 10?
