I've been MIA the last month. Been out of the counrty and got back last week. My Ride has been sitting in the garage all that time. So I decided to drive it down to Sheridan today for the "Rize and Shine" Car show sponsored by 5150 Car Club.
Got down to the show and ran into Morris from Colordao Springs with the Red RX-7 FD. We were both at the nearby car wash getting our Rides prep. We head down to the show and park next to each. We were put in the "Japanese" class with the rest of the asian imports.
It was a long day (more on that later) and the awards were not give out until 6:30pm. My MSP took 1st place and Morris's RX-7 took 3rd. A red celica from the Springs took 2nd.
It was great having another Mazda at the show, especially since both of us placed.
I forgot my camera when I left the house at 6:00 am, so I don't have any pictures. Morris had his camera, hopefuly he'll post up some pictures. The 5150 Car Club should also be posting pictures of the show on their Facebook page.
It was a long ride home after the show and I just got home.
