Summer BBQ/Meet interest?

Postby Learjet45 » Sun Jun 16, 2013 9:14

Anyone interested in doing a BBQ/meet at some point this summer? More importantly, does someone want to offer up their place for a meet like this? I'd love to get something going for a meet like this. The weekly meets are fun, but it'd be great to get a larger group together for a meet like we did for cruises a few years ago.
Who's in?

There is a park in golden that would be water if people didn't want to put up their house, has grills benches and whatever else, me and a big group of friends used to meet there every once in awhile

We tried to do this at a park in Littleton last year, but we got rain and ended up at a nearby restaurant. Would be fun.

Then why don't we all meet at a wing place or somewhere where everyone wants to eat, then we don't worry about clean up, who's house we are doing it at or Whatever else.

So there's interest. Someone take the ball and run with it.

Man, I was all about the park. Toss the pigskin, frisbee, whatever. Eat some decent food. I'd be down for a park. I'd even suggest the same park we tried last year. There are even sand volleyball courts nearby.

I'd also be in for a Sunday...after church times (12:00ish?).

I 2nd the park-part, we could do bring-your-own grub & beer, and I'm very down for some volleyball.
Any sunday except the 29th work for me.

Fair enough. But we should take an actual count of who is going. Because if 5 people show up that doesn't really seem like it would be worth the effort. If we could get 20 cars that would be awesome.

Tossing a pig skin around sounds like a pretty legitimate time to me. So lets make a roster.

How about the weekend of the 4th of July (which is on a Thursday I believe) that Saturday or Sunday work for anyone/everyone? That way it gives everyone 3 weeks to plan and get your schedules ready
