Summer BBQ/Meet interest?

Also, as for grilling, I've never grilled with charcoal. At least, not enough to know how to do it properly. Also, if we're going to do this, we have to be very respectful to avoid any problems with the police/city officials. Technically, we get a permit to be using the site and are supposed to have it at all times if we reserve it, so any stupidity is absolutely not allowed.

No one has really confirmed if this is a pot luck style thing or a byom thing, I am not eating so I am not concerned but I don't mind bringing something if it benefits everyone else.

Can anyone confirm what's what? And I think it would be easiest to state what you're bringing if you're bringing stuff for everyone, that way there isn't 10 of the same thing.
