Man! PSA have been putting up some nice Hammer Forged free float upper lately. I'm so tempted to pick one up for another build. :(

Should be here early next week! Picked up a spring and buffer at Tanner. (interesting experience, but good all in all)

I just ordered one of these for $149. I guess the price went up right after I ordered it... So yay! [ame]http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024XEXQS?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links[/ame]

Something that I can play with and teach my kids with. I also bought a target pellet trap that's made for it so I can use it anywhere. Maybe even the basement. lol.
My trigger finger has been itching but I don't want to blow through my ammo since its hard to replace at reasonable price at the moment. So hopefully this will help.

Nice air rifle. That is a powerful rifle, not at all like the air rifle I had growing up...

well, today marks the day of no more STANDARD capacity magazines. So the next person that gets shot in our state, will be because of some other mysterious reason, since Magazine Capacity is clearly the culprit of people dying. Not the shooter themselves, but the inanimate object. It's cool though, because we can still make them here and get the tax revenue....

Yeah. the imminent restriction of standard capacity magazines caused an over-allocation of unappropriated funds within our household this month.

Magazines for one item (SD9VE) were 37.00/ea! That is silly.

Many thanks to magpul for their generosity and unwillingness to gouge the heck out of us, unlike many other suppliers. Wish I had some FDE 20 rd mags though:(

I hear ya... I went a little nuts back in January and when Magpul did the Airlift program. Needless to say, I'm set. Although I completely agree about the 20 rounds... wish they had been part of the Airlift as well :(

Palmetto State Armory has M16 BCGs featuring 158 Carpenter Steel on sale for 99.99. I just ordered one for when I get an upper. Looking for a great deal on a BCM MOD3 Charging Handle.

have to be careful though, I hear those free-float barrels sort of fall off when you chamber a round. :D

j/k. Free float handguards are the way to go. I rock a Yankee hill that has customizable sides. It's essentially smooth on all sides, except the top has a full rail and you can buy rail sections if you want them. The free float tubes are nice, but beware the heat.... they get extremely hot without vents after only 30 rounds or so.
