Last month I received a parking ticket it had the correct plates and address. But I know that with a plate number police can get an address. Here is my issue. The date. I received it on december 2011. The ticket was issued may of 2010. That is over a year ago. My second issue is that I drive a ford explorer not a saab like it says on the paper. And finally the ticket was issued in a residential area in denver. I live in aurora and hardly travel to denver. I dont even know any one who lives in that area. I am 99% sure this ticket was a mistake and the police officer wrote the plate wrong. I sent a letter to the address were the ticket came from with a copy of my registration showing that the plates are registered to a ford not a saab. Last week I got the same freaken ticket again. With no letter saying that they received my letter or that i still had to pay. Nothing. So what do I do? Pay it? Or where do i go to fight this ticket?

Magistrate's office in Denver. Wellington Web building. You'll get nowhere either on the phone or with mail. Must go to the office. Do it ASAP. Unpaid parking violations (correct or not) may/can result in a canceled license. Canceled license means you have to start from scratch: learner's permit, written test, road test, etc.
