Hiya. Any of you guys good with macs?

A month ago I downloaded the program for my mac called Paragon - I had installed it properly, but when trying ot get my 1TB HD to work with it, it crashed my mac, and I had to boot-load it back...

Anyone know how to get my HD that's made for Windows to work on my Mac? I'm using 10.6 OS X. Thanks.

It does. That's what paragon program is for. You can make the mac read ntfs for the hard drives.. it's just complicated.... It's possible.. OR can someone tell me how to make my PC read my mac and vise versa? lol. I can see both computers - but both require access with passwords ( I know both of my pcs passwords) and it still wont work.

BUT I know it's possible for it to work!

You pretty much need to format the HD. When I tried to format it to get it to work, thats when it crashed my mac....

yeah there may be workarounds:

I gave up on trying to get my mac to read my ntfc HD, now I just transfer through wi-fi between shared folders from mac to pc or vise versa when i have to...

I have a free copy of Win7 (4 to be exact) in my closet when I went to a M$ event 2 years ago :P

However, this isn't helping, Jimmy! LOL!

i'm on xp, I just made a shared folder, right click it, be sure that these are checked 'share this folder on the network...' and 'allow network users to change my files'

then on the mac in finder > shared and the folder should show up,
As long as they're on the same local area network they should show up... sometimes you have to refresh....

somestimes if the DNS stuff is setup weird on the LAN you can run into troublezzzzz

Or you could just use a real computer instead of a Mac. :) Just kidding... Not really... Yea, just kidding... Yea... Not really. LOL
I shared stuff with my bro on a Mac all the time from my PC via network.

reformat your HD to a fat32 and it will talk to everything.
