I still have a little bit of sheet rock to do in the garage, maybe 2 hours worth, and repair the garage door opener. It is amazing, I can actually get to the Galaxie and open the doors.

No garage pics.

The house came out very nicely. Good job _chris!

No garage pics. I'll take a pic of the garage tomorrow for you. I'm going to be in there working anyway.

I couldn't take a pic of the garage and not get the galaxie in it, haha. it takes up half of the garage.

So the house went back on the market yesterday morning and we has two showings yesterday. We had an offer from the second showing and we were under contract by 9:00pm. A total of less than 12 hours on the market.

We are ecstatic.

Nicely Done!

What is your time line for closing and when will you begin looking in earnest for your new nest?

Inspection has to be done before April 6th. Closing is May 4th. Looking in earnest starts now. We are going house hunting on Saturday. We have about a week to find something to be able to get into a new house on time.

Luckily you have already been looking around. Have fun! I'd put off finding a house that works and find temporary shelter to allow you to find what you really want. Two moves sucks, but sucks less than living somewhere you don't really love.

e are actually going the other way...finding a place we really love, then getting our house on the market under the impression that it will be under contract/sold within about 10 days of listing.
