Dislocating your patella while trying Taekwondo for the first time.
Positive side? Finding out that an ambulance ride, 2-hour emergency room visit, and a pair of crutches cost $154 here
What grinds your gears?

You're supposed to stop and wait for every last car to go by before you go, right?

Yup...never mind that the "merge" lane is actually a new lane that really doesn't even require a true merge. Chickie in her new STI that has no clue how to drive. Argh!

My dearest gee... I respectfully disagree. Granted, we (Colorado) need some 'change' to our current system. My copays are... and my last urgent care visit was $250 (for a 2min convo and I left).
That said, $154 makes no sense- can we agree there? Someone is paying for that...most likely PAt, he just doesn't know it yet.
one and one makes two, together we are free

Healthcare grinds my gears. 154 makes perfect sense... it isn't the USA. Healthcare is cheaper almost everywhere because it wasn't built like ours, which isn't a negative comment as we have great innovations. But we have a mix of systems that has created a mess.
Take any other product and apply it, and it becomes clearer to see the problem.
-Apple Sells iPhones, gets profit, thrives
-Government and public demand cheaper, or free iPhones for each person, without raising taxes.
-Apple is now forced into a market where their costs are fixed, government introduces systems that control their product through regulation.
-Apple loses initiative to innovate due to controls. Retailers get frustrated because of reduced profits and forced delays to profits because of government reimbursement process.
-Retailers and Apple lose money from denied reimbursements, or reduced reimbursements because government funding budget doesn't increase with cost of living and no additional taxes
-Certain retailers refuse sale of Apple product because of losses or delayed profits
-Apple reduces staffing and development to account for forced budget
IMO, this is the problem with our system. We have (several) private institutions that were built on capitalism, and we, as a people of the US, want their product for free or at reduced cost. We get this pushed as a government plan and force a control on a business that previously thrived. We definitely need some changes, but they way they are doing it is NOT the correct answer.
Don't believe it? The above scenario is EXACTLY what has been occurring with Medicare. It has also started, albeit based out of fear, with Obamacare in some places. There are more and more practices refusing to accept medicare because of the above scenario... just wait until it happens to your desired Obamacare plan.
Don't get me wrong, I think the solution is correct. But the variables and the problem are misunderstood. IE... if we all needed free or low-cost healthcare, then that should have been the design and regulation DECADES ago.

Actually, I have. Several times. Usually the answer is either quality wire, a bit of wire wrap, or a wire lead. Running wires through a difficult spot is rarely an electrical problem, but rather a mechanical one.

My Car Blog
These Bicyclists...... They think that they have the right to pass up a line of 5 cars that are stopped at a red light and sit in front of ME!!!! He who has his turn signal to make a slight right from 11th onto Speer. This bicyclist thinks he owns the road. I've had many a riders see my signal and immediately go to the left of me as to not interrupt my route. This DB just sits there on the red till the light turns green. Then instead of peddling across he starts to kick-push the bike because he was taking too long pedal. I'm no bike expert but man this guy annoyed me wearing his full Tour de France outfit and not being able to go. Do these bikes not have gears? One speed!?
This was an over exaggeration but it did irk me a bit. Next time a biker starts to squeeze by cars on the side like that I'm gonna start to pull closer to the curb so he cant get by.

..... Splicing wires and having to redo your electrical is fun these days? I must have missed that memo. Agreed that feeding through bars is more mechanical than electrical, doesn't mean it doesn't piss me off. I don't even understand why we are still talking about this. Haha. Electrical is bullshit. IN MY OPINION

+2. Although, my story is a bit stranger.
My sister got a package from UPS today from Cafepress. She didn't order anything.... No billing info anywhere. Some $40 messenger bag with 2 day shipping even...
After calling twice, they confirmed it wasn't charged to any card in my sister's name, but they did tell us the billing and shipping address were the same... She got fraud alerts from Chase on Monday morning (when the item was ordered) although she got no alert about it and she called Chase, there was no attempted charge to cafepress. The whole thing is quite creepy.
