FIXED!!!

So of the 8 cars you've had, you've either wrecked or blown up 5 of them. And I'm betting that the '99 GSX wasn't far from either one of those fates before it got stolen.

Yikes.[/b]

nope the eclipse never had a problem with it

I have previously owned a 1980 toyota corolla, brown, carberator 600 bucks. it was an amazing car. sold it for 300 with 160k miles. saw it around a year later still going strong. then a 93 ford escort. got totaled in a parking lot by an old woman driving a virtual land yaght. that was after a slipped timing belt that blew a piston through the head trashing the motor. sold it for 300 and only got paid 150 cuz the guy skipped town. 03 toyota corolla TRD edition featured at the sema auto show in las vegs. it was amazing car. a series of unfortunate events resulted in me wanting to sell it though. I have to head back to work now, so I will finish this post later... bye 4 now. ok, so I traded the corolla and bought a tC. same story, it had two replaced quarter panels, one of which was my fault. then 3 yes, 3 costco shopping carts all in one fell swoop. so I said bye bye tC you are the devil. and traded it for my first and last gm car. an undentable 04 saturn ion, drum roll... redline! so what happened I backed into someone and dented the only dentable part of the car, the bumper. so one day I decided I needed a new car. why you ask? well why else I had a GM. so I test drove a civic an accord, and a 6. and somehow ended up with my mazdaspeed6 which its a 06 speed6 that I bought on 06/06/06. just blew the devil tC out of the water. wow. that was a long story short. but one other thing my husband and I have jointly owned an 03 civic ex, a 97 toyota paseo, and another 05 tC release series which we traded for his current vehicle an 08 evo x. who's is faster? TBD...

Im almost still wondering what im doing with an import type car and still lost as hell with it. what do you expect coming from a world of carburated v8's

1979 Pontiac Trans Am (first car when i was 16 build to hell after a short time)

1980 Chevy k10 blazer (just to toy in the desert)

1979 Bricklin SV1 1st edition (still have this toy needs some glass work carb intake manifold and a distributor but is damn hard to find compatible)

2005 Mazda RX8 (still trying to figure out how to tune it and get some good performance outta it... well at least a little better than its got)

Sadly the lowest powered car ive ever owned is my 8 lol trans am had 610 with supercharger and completely redone engine blazer had about 450 was a desert toy and bricklin is setting somewhere about 300 now... needs lotsa parts and a whole teardown. My 8 with very little power in comparison.. just feels weird going down the road flooring it and not blowing tires off (but itll actually make a corner and is so much fun to just drive around). im 24 atm been building v8's since i was 14 in my dads shop.

Have to say though i still miss my dang trans am lol. cracked a head and shot the other outta the hood gernading the engine at the dragstrip. It was a sad sad day. Woulda been fixable other than the fact that the whole engine super and all was gone woulda costed more to get new block charger tranny and other parts than it would to get my 8 besides that ive always wanted to make a corner without going 15 mph
