erod550 wrote:Comfortable is subjective. I don't always like cold air blowing on me. Sometimes I just like the fresh air from outside and hearing all the sounds around me (including my car) with the windows down. Other times I will roll the windows up and turn the AC on for a little at a time to mitigate the heat.

This is generally after the car has been parked in the garage, so it's not 120 degrees inside. If it's been parked in the sun the AC always comes on.

Plus, a big reason I almost never used the AC in the past is it saps power.

Well put! ha ha ... that pretty much describes me too.

I never understood people having the ability to use something that would make them more comfortable, and not using it, unless 80 degrees is comfy for you.

Actually, I set the thermostat to 79 and its quite comfy -- relatively speaking, as the temp says [near] 90 if I don't have the AC on....on hot days obviously.

Nope. I turn the AC off every day when I go to work. This is a one bedroom apartment and I live alone. It must be my older appliances... older fridge, older air conditioning. Not very efficient. I actually chose this unit because it had the older appliances and it brought the price down considerably, but now I know why hah

It's not nearly as noticeable in the Mustang. I'm kind of glad the AC doesn't work in the Miata because the thing can barely move if I turn the AC on, lol.

yeah, back in the Civic days I tried not to use it. Car vibrated at idle with it on and sucked a ton of power. The MS3 and the Evo both have auto climate so it's always on. Set to 73F or so B)

That's why I almost never used the auto climate feature in the MS3, heh. Cause then the AC was always on.

That sucks dude! Even with older appliances, that just seems super high to me:huh:

That's what it does in my MS3. Feels like I'm sitting in a supped (sp?) up Chevelle or something:rolleyes: (and not in a good way either)

And you even have stock motor mounts don't you? It's waaaay worse with solid mounts.

How really tasty cereals are NEVER on sale.

How generic wanna-be namebrand cereals NEVER taste as good (or even similar for that matter) as the one they are imitating...

Um, check the 2-term idiot who led us to this point and blame him, not the one stuck with getting us out of this mess.

I hate politics.
