I had some guy in a riced out civic try and race me this morning. He was pissed that he couldn't keep up accelerating on the interstate. He tried 3 times to get me to race, I ignored him.

Yes, but they don't normally have shards of class hanging from them when they do.

Nissan Altima 3.5 tried me the other day from a stoplight and I made him look silly by putting a bus length on him through 2nd gear. I felt really shitty later when the guy drove by and still had temporary tags on his car...

You should feel bad. You should have at least TWO bus lengths on an Altima at this elevation!

Aight so I was pulling up to an intersection and this older lady was in front of me and I knew she was just gunna slow me down. I decided the best thing to do to avoid said slowing was to anticipate the light change and be in the intersection actually before the light changed (eh...smart thinkin right!!) Besides, figured she wouldn't wanna be out in traffic. Anyways...I see no cars are coming and the light has turned yellow for the cross traffic and I said f' it...and went!! Quickly walked across the street, no slowing down for said older lady and was able to make it home in about 7 minutes from the light rail I just got off :D

Driving down the highway at the tail end of the traffic I see an SRT-8 Jeep Cherokee merging somewhat briskly onto the highway behind me so I knew my bright red Mazda had been spotted... So I did the only sensible thing and drove slow enough to let him catch up and let a big gap form with the traffic ahead.

When he finally caught up to me I was ready and waiting in 4th gear at about 55 mph. Then, just like I knew he would, he took the bait and punched it and we both got off to a clean start. Right off the bat his big V8 edged me out, but as my rpm's passed 4,000rpm it was game over as my turbo spooled full boost and the nose of my Mazda stayed ahead until we both shut down. It was extremely well matched race, but the little Mazda pulled through in the end!

Nice. There are two SRT-8 Jeeps down here. A red one and a black one. Now I know not to mess with them, since I'm slower than you. :)

But I'm currently ignoring all challenges anyway. Trying to milk the last quarter tank of gas so I can plop the $15 in gas money I have into the mod fund. LOL

I've been challenged by both the black cars in this picture. The Z a few months ago, and the Supra today. Both at the same location, just after a left-hand turn onto a six-lane road.

The guy lives by me, and told me the Z is stock (which I think is BS...) and the Supra is his modded track car.

When he wants to play, this guy will weave side-to-side ahead of you, trying to get your attention. Not alot...nothing dangerous. Just enough so you see him doing it. Anyway, the picture tells of his disappointment. LOL.

And yes...I successfully made it to payday (tonight at midnight) without having to tank up, so I did GOOD!

Hmm... are you still stock turbo? I've wondered how I'd do against one of those from a roll and now I think I could hang with one. From a dig though, forget about it. Even as much as they weigh I think the AWD would be enough for them to get a lead early and keep it.
